Chapter oneSkin rasped over dry flesh, a sound like parchment being unfurled. Colourless pupils stare blindly into space, the moisture and function long since gone from those orbs. Candle-light flickered off wrinkled features, the flame guttering as consistently as the old man’s breath. Emaciated and ragged he lay, sheets draped over his skeletal form and giving the impression of his body soon to come. He was dying, that much was plain to the eye, and the fact that his family clustered close by inferred that he had little time left. The room was hush, the only sound the breathing of the gathered. PartingThe moonlight spilled across the bed sheets, highlighting the contours of the two prone furres laying there. The larger one shifted, rolling over to reveal himself as a wolf, his snow white hair falling down across his muzzle. After a few minutes, he stirred again, one amber eye opening to look out the window, up at the symbol which he’d been keeping time with for all his life. He knew it was time to go. The first night he’d lain with her, it was obvious she was special right from the start. The Fall of Malrathi PrimeThe early morning silence was shattered by the chatter of gunfire, the dense mist that hugged the ground flashing yellow, white, yellow, white with each burst. Eeee, I haven't updated in two months. I just seem so damn bad at this whole keeping up with life thing. :<

Anywho! Many, many developments to relay. First and foremost, I'm no longer single for once in a blue moon! Which is probably why I've seemed to be completely dead anywhere online. Secondly, I'm starting to feel a bit artsy again recently in various different ways. I wrote a veeeeery short peice for guitar (If anyone's really interested, I'll upload it at some point) and I'm going to dig out my tablet for a bit of inking of friend's drawings. Unfortunately nothing as inventive as drawing myself, but it may come with time >_>

But anywho, I'm rambling. Merry Christmas, because I missed that too, and may the new year bring you many good lucks!
